Dr. Harrison is a dedicated general dentist proudly serving the York, Pennsylvania community he calls home. Raised in York, Dr. Harrison is a graduate of Red Lion High School and has deep roots in the area, which continue to shape his commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality dental care.
He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from York College of Pennsylvania, majoring in Biology with a minor in Spanish. Dr. Harrison went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree magna cum laude from the Kornberg School of Dentistry at Temple University. While in dental school, Dr. Harrison participated in two dental mission trips through the Growing Smiles Foundation, providing much-needed dental care to children at an orphanage in Peru. These experiences strengthened his passion for service, expanded his global perspective on oral health, and allowed him to further develop his Spanish skills, in which he is fluent.
Following dental school, Dr. Harrison spent 10 years practicing at Family First Health, a local practice dedicated to serving the community. During this time, he developed extensive experience treating patients of all ages and backgrounds. He has also contributed to the education of future dentists by lecturing to dental residents at York Hospital and has spokenĀ at community events focused on public health and improving access to dental care. Yearly, Dr. Harrison dedicates a weekend to volunteering with Mission of Mercy Pennsylvania (Mom-n-PA). He is a member of the York County Dental Society, Pennsylvania Dental Association and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Harrison lives in York with his wife, Alissa, their son, Arthur, and their dog, Riley. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his family, aviation, traveling, and exploring great restaurants.
